Nice, very nice that you returned with The Experience, and what a hard act to follow from their last visit here (Invercargill). The band they rocked this little ol village and everyone is the better for it. Thank you band, truly, my biased favourite is Rob (i'm a drummer) but awesome line up, man the keys man can tinkle along, and the girls! Yes, very polished and the set list worked a treat. Wow those LED's are bright, certainly no hiding of the abundant blue rinse set ( must be getting old, then it was the 70's when we were grooving with a pict). Hey guys enjoy the rest of your tour, the year. Thank You for sharing. Anyone who has seen PFE should not miss this show, anyone who hasn't , this is a must do.
A self-confessed ‘cheeky little bugger’, I joined the Experience on their 10th Anniversary tour in 2007 after running away from home in Invercargill. I originally persuaded my mate Doc to accompany me on my new adventures, however Doc was such a pussy that he piked out at Timaru and returned to Invercargill early without seeing his 10th Anniversary contract out!
I got sent back to Invercargill after that tour but the band missed me so much they kidnapped me again and took me on their Back Catalogue Tour around NZ. During the PULSE 2011 tour, much to my disgust, I was dropped off back in Invercargill with instructions to carry on administering the blog and looking after all the gnomie stuff 'remotely' (as in, “you can’t get much more ‘remote’ than Invercargill?”). The guys say I’m a bit of a ‘liability’ when we tour (whatever that means), but they say I can go on tour with them again once my attitude improves – I suppose I’m a bit of a cheeky swine and maybe not strictly speaking ‘politically correct’ (‘burp – ’scuse me, was having a quick Grolsh), so if you don’t like smelly opinions, don’t read any more...
